See you Monday

Friday

Since my friend is going home for the weekend today, she said that we should get some Chinese food form the Idaho Commons today before her brother picks her up today at three. As soon as she gets out of class at one, she said she would call me so we could meet at the Commons. Yesterday I helped her move into her new room. She moved from Ballard wing in Wallace into Willey wing. She had about six suitcases full of clothes, but still had her whole closet full of clothes that she needed to take. It didn’t take too long, and after we got most of the big things into the room, she said she and some other girls could handle it and so I went with some of the guys from my hall to get some Denny’s.

Chop of Death

Thursday

Due to some complications with me and my roommates schedule and the abundance of homework we had, we were unable to go to the gym for the first time since we had agreed to go every day. It was a really upsetting things since we had been doing very good and had been going every day. I wasn’t too worried because I had karate in the morning and had gotten a good workout there. Today we learned how to knock people out by using a neck chop. I had the unfortunate luck of having it demonstrated on me and when it was done, I did feel a little whoozy and saw black for a second. We also learned a tornado kick, which I got the hang of pretty quick.

Owl Pellet

Wednesday

I had a biology lab today in the life sciences building. I mad extra sure that I had everything ready for it like my pre-lab worksheets and everything and left my room early so I wouldn’t have to leave in a hurry especially since it was snowing and slushie and I didn’t want to slip trying to hurry up these hill. We had to dissect an owl pellet and retrieve any bones that we find in it and name the type of animal and how many our owl had eaten. Mine ate three mice and parts from other small mammals and I thought that was pretty cool.

Leg Day

Tuesday

Karate today was probably one of the most tiring days I have ever had in that class. We started of by sprinting 2 laps around the gym where we practice, then we had to do one more lap but for this lap, we had to sprint it backwards. After that we had to walk in a squatting position across the gym and then we had to jump for height 10 times which was extremely tiring. I realized that we were working our legs out because today we were learning kicks and had to have strong legs so then I thought it wouldn’t be too bad.
Monday

Today was just like any other day. Thankfully, today is one of the days that I don’t have class until 10:30 so that is always a plus on these days. My friend told me that she will be going home this weekend and asked me if I wanted her to bring me anything back from her town. She lives in Weiser and the only thing that town is known for is having a McDonlad’s so I asked her if she could bring me back a Big Mac, but apparently that wasn’t a good answer and was followed by a punch in the arm. Totally worth it though.

Filthy Friday

Don’t let the title turn you off from reading this. I am simply referring to one of my favorite Youtubers of all time, Filthy Frank. I just found a really good song on Soundcloud where an artist use bits of audio from one of Filthy Frank’s videos. The song was really good and really catchy and hearing the audio from one of his videos just made it all the better for me. I always try to get people to watch his videos with me but every time I try, people usually end up in a corner crying to themselves, saying something about being mentally scarred or something. I don’t know, I think his videos are hilarious, but if you ever get the urge to check out his videos I guess I should warn you about them, they are not for the easily butthurt so watch at your own risk.

Old Friends and New

Today I got to hang out with a friend that I haven’t hung out with in what seemed to be forever. It really made me happy to be able to hang out with her and talk like we used to. It really made me realize that things just wouldn’t be the same if I couldn’t see her anymore. And it’s not just her, but I have started forming a lot of really good relationships with a bunch of other people and all of them are friendships that I am going to be great full for the rest of my life and I will never take them for granted.

All throughout today, I have been stressing about a paper I have to write for one of the classes I have to take for a scholarship I was given. It’s nothing too hard, it’s just a full page summary of the ideal job that I want to get in my major. And although I know it’s not that hard of an assignment, it’s one of those things that is always in the back of your mind, it’s always there reminding you that you have to finish it. It’s really annoying, but I’ll just finish it during my two hour break tomorrow in between classes, so it probably won’t be that hard.

Today I had to wake up early in the morning to go to my karate class that I have at eight in the morning. Normally for any other class, waking up at that time would be complete torture, but since that class is something I'm really interested in and am excited for, I don't mind having to put in the little extra effort to wake up in the morning. After class was over, i went back to my dorm to take a quick shower and head over to Bob's to get some breakfast since it was still early. I went with my neighbor from across the hall and with one of my suite mates. When we got there we met up with a few more people form our hall and sat with them to eat. I then left because i had another class at 10:30, so I said good bye to them. i was able to get through all my class without falling asleep in any of them and finished at 3:15. Now all i have to do is do some homework for some other classes and go to the gym and my day will be complete.
